US Congressional Armenian Caucus sends letter to new Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense

Leaders of the US Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues—Congress members Frank Pallone, Jackie Speier, Gus Bilirakis, David Valadao, and Adam Schiff—have written a letter to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, VOA reported.

In the letter, the Congress members congratulated these two US officials on assuming office, and stressed the difficult situation in the region, which, according to these lawmakers, arose as a result of the unpredictable military aggression by Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The aforesaid Congress members raised a number of issues on the American-Armenian agenda, emphasizing the importance of a number of US regional policy priorities.

Several other Congress members also have joined this letter.
